The Grace of God in Jesus – (Romans 3:22-23, 6:23, 10:11-13, 10:9)

Bible Verse
For there is no difference; for all have sinned and [all] fall short of the glory of God, For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. For the Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame. For the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Reading Notes
God is rich in His mercy and grace toward us, wanting that no one should perish. Wanting no one to spend eternity in torment and separation from God. God’s desire is that all come to faith in Christ and spend eternity in the presence of Jesus. We were bought with the precious blood of Christ, and there is no power of Hell, nor scheme of man that can snatch us from the hands of Jesus. Those who place their faith in Jesus have security in Him for eternal life. In addition God sent us His Holy Spirit to indwell us and walk with us while we are here in this dark world. The Holy Spirit carries out God’s process of spiritual growth inside of us. The victory of God’s grace in our lives means there is no guilt in life and no fear in death for those who have placed their trust in Jesus our Lord.

This doesn’t mean we won’t have trials; but it does mean that the victory is assured. The victory has already been won by Jesus. And because of what Jesus did for us and our faith in Him, we are freely given eternity in His presence. In addition, we inherit the kingdom of God as joint-heirs with Christ. We should never forget God’s grace, His salvation comes with many gifts. We have the gift of justification where we are made righteous in the eyes of God because of what Jesus did for us at the Cross and our faith in Him. We have been given sanctifying grace, as God, through the Holy Spirit carries out His process of spiritual growth transforming our hearts and minds. And we have the hope of our salvation, which is our future glorification when we go home to be with the Lord. These things God has given us, through grace, by faith in Christ, because of His great love for us.
